Everforth ECS is seeking a highly qualified Security Engineer - MID with an active Secret Clearance to work full time on our project at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL . The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Secret Security Clearance.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Oversees security plans and details security policies. Develop, execute and track the performance of security measures to protect information and network infrastructure and computer systems. Design computer security strategy and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture. Identify, define and document system security requirements and recommend solutions to management. Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware. Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions. Monitor systems for irregular behavior and set up preventive measures. Coordinates security rules and internal access authorization with IT Operations leadership and management. Ensures compliance with security policies and procedures as well as industry-specific regulations. Evaluates and recommends security and equipment updates as necessary. Prepares and maintains technical documentation. Conducts periodic risk management audits to ensure company security is updated and as effective as possible. Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts. Working under only general direction, provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
