Job Description

Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3 to support the Fort Meade customer by providing engineering and project management expertise for end-to-end data flow solutions. This role supports the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) mission by defining requirements, managing project schedules, coordinating stakeholders, and implementing data flow architectures that transform and integrate data into standardized models. The position requires strong customer engagement, systems engineering, and project management skills, along with an understanding of data processing and integration within a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering and project management support for end-to-end data flow initiatives
  • Elicit, analyze, and refine customer and system requirements
  • Develop work breakdown structures, project schedules, roadmaps, and implementation plans
  • Document technical artifacts, requirements, and project deliverables
  • Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and mission needs
  • Support the design and implementation of data flows, including transformation into standard data models
  • Analyze data collection, processing, and integration requirements to support mission objectives
  • Maintain an understanding of customer data flow architectures and associated dependencies
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams to support project execution and delivery
  • Track project status, risks, and action items to ensure successful implementation


Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of systems engineering, project management, or related experience
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting technical requirements
  • Strong project management skills, including schedule development and task tracking
  • Working knowledge of data collection, processing, and data flow engineering concepts
  • Understanding of end-to-end data flow architectures and data transformation processes
  • Experience coordinating with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and priorities
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic mission environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of National-to-Tactical integration architectures, structures, and relationships
  • Experience supporting enterprise data transformation or data integration initiatives
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community data processing and dissemination workflows


Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $165,000.00 /Yr.
