Program Manager

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Program Manager to support a high-visibility National Security contract based in Arlington, VA . This is a full-time, onsite position supporting a mission-critical AI Cybersecurity Office within the Department of Defense. This role is critical to enabling senior leadership decision-making, ensuring operational alignment across cybersecurity initiatives, and driving program execution in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment. As the Program Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor and action officer, coordinating across multiple organizations while supporting executive-level operations and cybersecurity governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a principal advisor and staff support to executive leadership within the AI Cybersecurity Office, enabling timely, informed decision-making.
• Oversee daily program activities, ensuring tasks, priorities, and deliverables align with Government objectives and timelines.
• Track tasks, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across RMF and cybersecurity-related workstreams.
• Coordinate across multiple organizations and leadership levels to ensure clear dissemination of guidance, direction, and decisions.
• Produce monthly status reports, quad charts, executive briefings, and written summaries for senior DoD leadership.
• Organize and manage meetings, conferences, and VTCs; develop agendas, capture meeting minutes, and maintain attendee records.
• Develop and manage trackers, SOPs, schedules, process guides, and other operational documentation.
• Prepare, edit, and review official communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with leadership intent.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including access requests, orientation, and knowledge transfer.
• Maintain suspense trackers, action-item portals, and filing systems in coordination with executive staff.
• Support adherence to DoD policies, federal regulations, and internal cybersecurity and RMF procedures.
• Manage multiple competing priorities while continuously improving processes and coordination in a mission-driven environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of experience providing executive-level support, planning, or advisory services within the DoD or federal environment
• Proven experience in program coordination, task management, and executive communications
• Strong understanding of DoD organizational structures, staff processes, and operational workflows
• Experience supporting cybersecurity and/or RMF-related programs (highly preferred)
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint for executive-level briefings
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills supporting senior military and government leadership
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience developing SOPs, trackers, reports, and operational documentation
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-tempo, mission-critical environment
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills

COMPENSATION:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 *depending on experience
