Job Description
SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Solutions Architect to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.
This position is located in Arlington, VA and will be onsite 5 days a week. No hybrid/telework allowed.
What You'll Do:
As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical leader responsible for designing and advancing enterprise security architectures that support complex Federal and national security environments.
Responsibilities include:
Define, design, and evolve enterprise security architectures and cybersecurity solutions.
Partner with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Data teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient
technologies.
Establish and maintain security standards, policies, frameworks, and technical guidance across the enterprise.
Lead security architecture reviews, risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and remediation efforts.
Develop and maintain Security Risk Management Plans aligned to mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative security capabilities to enhance organizational
security posture.
Author technical recommendations, architecture documentation, and executive-level briefings for stakeholders.
Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity frameworks and security regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and a minimum of 14 years’ of relevant experience.
An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
Must either possess and maintain one of the following professional certifications:
• CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• Security+ – CompTIA Security+
• Net+ – CompTIA Network+
• A+ – CompTIA A+
• MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional
• MCSE – Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
• CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate
• MCSA – Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
U.S. citizenship required.
Active Secret security clearance.
Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience conducting industry and peer security reviews.
Demonstrated ability to author white papers, technical recommendations, or security architecture documentation.
Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and executive audiences.
Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
