Specialized Experience GS-06: One year of specialized experience which includes1) Creating safety awareness documents to support workplace safety initiatives; 2) Gathering data used for reports to support management decision-making; AND 3) Preparing a variety of documents using computer software applications to support office operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Additional information
- Serve as Program Manager to assigned safety program areas.
- Manage Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) fit test program and maintains in-depth knowledge of principles, controls and relevant codes in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Administer International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 45001 Safety Management System.
- Administer personal protective equipment (PPE) Program.
- Engage and actively participate in the Safety Hazard Reporting program.

- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5 minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
