Sr Software Engineer

Peerless is searching for a US Citizen who is an experienced Software Engineer. This person will d esign and implement new capabilities, r esolve issues found in existing code and i ntegrate capabilities with external services and tools

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (you need to be a US citizen to get this clearance)
• Bachlor 's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• 5 years of experience web development front and back end
• Experience with web front end development using React or Angular
• Experience with RESTful web services
• Experience with server-side languages, such as Golang, NodeJS, Python
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with Docker/Podman (containerized deployment)
• Experience with version control software (ex Git)
• Experience with bug/issue tracking software such as JIRA

Desired Experience

• 10 years of experience developing front and back end
• Experience with Authentication/Authorization/Security related development (Keycloak, Open Policy Agent, OIDC, OAuth2) is a plus
• Experience utilizing NoSQL databases, such as Elastic, MongoDB is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, Helm is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines utilizing Gitlab CI or Jenkins is a plus
• Preferred language experience: Angular, React, TypeScript, Java, Python
• Ability to communicate technical details of work
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and take ownership for segments of a project
