Location: Markham, ON/Remote

Duration: 12 Months

Introduction

Our client is seeking a highly experienced consultant to support a large-scale initiative. This is an urgent requirement for a Canada-based resource who can work closely with client stakeholders and bridge the North American time zone gap. This engagement is part of a major enterprise program with multiple parallel workstreams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Need Active security clearance.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps (CP4AIOps).
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting enterprise AIOps environments.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, event management, and IT operations.
• Experience working within large enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders.
• Must be based in Canada and available to work North American business hours.
• Prior work experience in telecommunications, large enterprise, or managed services environments.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with IBM Netcool (highly desirable).
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift (RHOS).
• Experience with IBM Cloud Pak solutions and automation platforms.
• Previous experience on IBM-led transformation or modernization programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and support IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps (CP4AIOps) solutions.
• Analyze and correlate operational events, alerts, and incidents across complex enterprise environments.
• Support AI-driven monitoring, event management, automation, and operational intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with client teams to improve observability, incident response, and operational efficiency.
• Configure integrations between CP4AIOps and enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and platform optimization activities.
• Work closely with technical leads, architects, and operations teams in a client-facing environment.
• Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and best-practice recommendations.
