This position requires at least an active Secret Security Clearance
This position will work on site, 5 days per week at the client office in either Louisville or Centennial Colorado, no exceptions.
Experience in the space industry is required.

Our client, a leading commercial space company, is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to own the end-to-end testing process for cutting-edge space systems. This person will be overseeing full cycle testing, from planning, execution, and analysis of results/reporting. You'll be building and leading a cross-functional team across software, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to plan, execute, and close out complex test campaigns on satellite and space vehicles.
What You'll Do
Own the full lifecycle of test events for space systems and vehicles, from planning through execution and documentation
Assembling matrixed teams of SME's from software, mechanical, and electrical engineering and other departments to execute testing
Develop test plans, procedures, and scripts; generate execution reports with full requirements traceability
Identify and procure necessary test support equipment
Manage cost and schedule across test development and execution phases
Surface and escalate schedule or execution risks proactively
Drive compliance with system requirements through rigorous testing practices
Troubleshoot test anomalies methodically and document findings thoroughly
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace or defense testing
Spacecraft or satellite background - required
Solid understanding of engineering principles and quality/product assurance practices
Ability to read schematics, interpret technical documentation, and follow complex test procedures
Experience generating and dispositioning non-conformances
Familiarity with Jira and Microsoft Project a plus
Strong communication skills - comfortable presenting technical information to mixed audiences
