• You will have responsibility for planning and activating successful reentry operations for X-Flight on through LE2; and developing and/or updating documentation as it relates to reentry processing at ER.
• Typical day will consist of working with multiple organizations, understanding reentry hardware and testing needs, and integrating with system safety along with ESH at the Eastern Range.

No clearance is required to apply, but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education,
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and interfacing with internal/external customers,
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills:
• Masters degree or higher
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Candidate must have the ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
• Previous FBM experience
• Re-entry Body, Missile or Space hardware/software development or integration experience
• Knowledge of & experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Programs' Reentry Systems' products and performance
• Project, and/or System engineering experience
• Familiar with range, system, and workplace safety
• Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solution for an inflexible schedule
• Ability to interact with other organizations to ensure requirements are satisfied
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action,
• Willing to learn and travel to other FBM facilities to support reentry operation needs
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
