Lockheed Martin is seeking a System Engineer for a position in Huntsville, AL.
Come be a part of the development of the new Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW). Join the Lockheed Martin team and be a part of the company that has developed and flown more hypersonic vehicles than any other U.S. Company and has decades of hypersonic development and flight test experience from government contracts as well as internal investments in research and development projects. This position is for a System Engineer to support the LRHW System Engineering, Integration & Test organization. You will help design, develop, and innovate technical solutions for soldier utilized ground systems.

This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, other system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience and full knowledge of processes in one or more of the following areas:
- Trade Studies
- Systems Engineering approach and processes
- Requirement definition, decomposition, and allocation
- Interface definition (ICD, IBDs, IDDs)
- Performing System Integration
- Support to major reviews
• Working Knowledge of Cameo/ Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship Required
Desired Skills:
• Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
• Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the full product life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and field support)
• CONOPS or Architecture Development
• Support to System Level trade studies
• Knowledge of AGILE process
• Knowledge of JIRA
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent experience
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
