Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING

The Mission Integration & Maritime Solutions (MIMS) Program Management Director is responsible for the strategy, execution, delivery, and sustainment milestones for: the international Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) program for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces; the United States Navy Ship Integration & Test program; the United States Navy Littoral Combat Ship; the machinery controls portfolio; and various ship, platform integration and test, and other maritime opportunities.

THE WORK

This position requires a shipbuilding background as the MIMS organization has strategic significance in both the domestic and international shipbuilding market. This role spans multiple geographic locations and requires hands-on employee engagement and talent development at all levels in the business.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Minimum of 15 years of experience or equivalent in program, operations, and engineering management across the lifecycle of a program

- Demonstrated program management

experience with ability to deliver results (sales,

orders, EBIT, cash) while balancing technical,

schedule, and cost performance

- Demonstrated past performance with strategy

development/implementation, proposal

development, program capture, and transition to

execution

- Significant demonstrated experience with Earned Value

Management/PPMP execution

- Proven history of leadership and capacity to manage geographically dispersed teams in dynamic environments

across multiple locations

- Proven capability/track record in building effective customer relationships/customer intimacy, including social acumen with international customers

- Willingness to perform frequent domestic and international travel

- Demonstrated experience with international direct commercial sales and foreign military sales

Desired Skills:

- Aegis Combat Systems familiarity

- Familiarity working with PEO IWS, PEO SHIPS and NAVSUP programs and personnel

- Experience in Commercial Solutions Openings

(CSOs), Software Acquisition Pathway, and Other

Transactions (OTs)

- Experience with program start-up, rapid

prototyping, warfighter exercises

- Excellent communication skills and ability to

motivate and influence individuals outside

his/her team boundaries to accomplish wider

organizational goals.

- Knowledge of Digital Transformation tools and

application to program performance and

proposals

- Experience working effectively across LM Market

Segments and Functional Organizations

- Experience with Agile / DevSecOps

development programs

- Experience integrating complex combat systems and equipment into ships, sites, and other platforms

- Experience managing indirect expense planning as well as negotiating large DoD contracts

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $309,120. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
