We are seeking an experienced Multi-Functional Manufacturing Manager to join our Production Operations team at our Sunnyvale, CA facility.

In this role, you will:

• Sustain schedule compliance and budget supporting deliverable and development hardware.

• Maintain oversight of a multi shift operation with a focus on staffing, training, skill certification management for a functional support team and technicians.

• Lead daily product schedules, shop schedules, quality, and manufacturing engineering.

• Prioritize and communicate fabrication support tasks supporting the Mechanical Manufacturing Center.

• Responsibilities include machining, fabrication, paint, processing, precision clean, composites and electronics processes, equipment selection/usage, technical issue resolution, new technologies, and program design groups.

• Lead integrated product teams regarding concepts, specification requirements, and producibility reviews.

• Guide performance design, cost analysis, earned value management, quality, development, and manufacturing of metallic hardware.

• Manage capital planning acquisition, and facilities management and long range plan for the center.

• Understand environmental standards and apply them to manufacturing activities.

• Enforce a robust safety program, rapid improvement processing, cost reduction initiatives, and long-range strategic initiatives planning.

• Lead overhead and service center cost accounts to meet annual allocations.

• Oversee cost, performance and budget reporting for all projects in the center.

• Incorporate Full Spectrum Leadership qualities into your managing duties.

Basic Qualifications:

-Proven experience leading cross functional teams and multiple resource groups.

-Strong understanding of manufacturing process flows, Capital process and/or Cost Account Management processes.

-Prior experience leading (L-coded exempt (support) and/or non-exempt (representative) employees).

-Knowledge of Common Integrated Processes System (CIPS), and/or SAP/ERP systems.

-Experience with Proposals.

-Basic knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems, Capacity Planning, Dispatch/eWhiteboard reporting that drive business rhythm.

-US Citizen with ability to obtain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

5-7 years of Manufacturing/Production/Test experience.

Minimum of 5 years demonstrated leadership experience.

Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership qualities.

Excellent communication, management change, and organizational skills.

Established experience achieving positive results with major technical and manufacturing objectives leading functional teams and resources.

Demonstrated social skills to work effectively with program management, individual contributors, team members, and customers.

Understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Experienced with PODs (Production Operation Directives).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
