Description:You will be the C-5M Flight Engineer for the flight test team which is responsible for advancing advanced aircraft capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the C-5M Flight Engineer you will be responsible for delivering critical flight-test expertise across development, validation, and training initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform duties as a C-5M Flight Engineer supporting Developmental Ground and Flight Tests, Functional Check Flights (FCF), Acceptance Check Flights (ACF) and ferry missions.
Conduct joint aircraft operations with AMC, AFMC and AFRC aircrews.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the C-5M program on both ground and flight operations.
Provide instructor duties in classrooms, simulators, and on aircraft.
Support training courseware development and flight-manual updates.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• 1000 hours minimum experience as a C-5 Flight Engineer
• C-5M Flight Engineer Instructor Certification
• FAA Class II Medical
Desired Skills:
• C-5M Functional Check Flight experience
• C-5M Flight Engineer Evaluator Certification
• FAA Flight Engineer Certificate
• Developmental or Operational Flight Test experience
• FAA Airframe and Power Plant License
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
