Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to support a company focused on delivering secure, mission-critical IT solutions to federal customers. This is a primarily remote position with occasional on-site requirements in San Diego, CA . The Senior IT Specialist will support the full lifecycle of enterprise IT solutions by partnering with customers to design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable systems. This role directly supports federal missions by ensuring system availability, security, and operational continuity.

Responsibilities for the Senior IT Specialist include:
- Assist information engineers with coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of enterprise IT solutions
- Collect, analyze, and translate business and technical requirements into scalable system designs
- Support IT solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and system conversions
- Develop and maintain system, security, and business continuity documentation
- Monitor system performance using defined metrics and resolve business and technical issues
Required Qualifications for the Senior IT Specialist include:
- 8+ years of experience in Information Systems or enterprise IT support and engineering roles
- Experience with Windows App Package
- Experience with MECM
- Powershell scripting experience
- Strong skills in system design, integration, troubleshooting, and customer collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active Secret clearance required
Compensation for the Senior IT Specialist include:
- Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience
