Job Description

We are a rapidly growing organization seeking multiple Logistics and Asset Management Analysts to provide asset accountability, property management, and hands-on compute logistics support for a large enterprise DoD IT environment supporting the DISA Joint Service Provider (JSP) Platform Services portfolio. This single posting consolidates the Logistics Analyst (Intermediate) and Compute Logistics Analyst roles, and is intended to staff multiple positions across receiving, lifecycle management, DPAS accountability, CSR/server-room support, and compute hardware handling at the Pentagon and JSP-designated alternate sites. Candidates at the journeyman and entry-to-mid levels are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accountability for IT assets including servers, workstations, storage, tape libraries, peripheral devices, software, operating systems, applications, cabling, and server racks; track location, physical ownership, and how each asset is being used.
Support preparation of hand receipts, asset inventory inputs, and other Property Records in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) in accordance with Defense Acquisition University (DAU) guidance.
Contribute to recurring deliverables, including the quarterly Asset Inventory Report and monthly Floor Plan; capture and update asset records as moves, adds, and changes occur.
Support the daily receipt of equipment and supplies within the JSP Platform Services area and shipments to vendors or alternate sites; conduct initial inspections and prepare Delivery Inspection and Acceptance Documents for Government inspection within three business days of receipt.
Perform hands-on compute logistics activities, including receiving, staging, labeling, racking, decommissioning, and sanitization of servers, workstations, and storage devices in coordination with the System Administrator and Cyber teams.
In coordination with the JSP Facilities team, assist with desk/office moves, CSR facility maintenance, internal safety and environmental audits, and tracking corrective actions to completion.
Assist with installation and maintenance of network and power cabling and related equipment in server rooms, cubicles, conference rooms, and office areas, including cable tipping/testing and labeling-standard adherence.
Maintain documentation of electric power routing of circuit breakers to respective racks and Power Distribution Units (PDUs); support upkeep of Rack Elevation drawings using Visio.
Maintain server racks and properly place servers and other equipment in their assigned locations.
Support the asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement, including tracking of warranty information with the Government procurement POC and upkeep of the physical media library.
Coordinate with property custodians and facility managers on property delivery, turn-in, return, storage, packing, handling, and transportation.
Attend weekly space and logistics management meetings as directed and capture action items for the team Lead.
Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) or more years of experience in IT asset management, property accountability, logistics, hardware receiving/staging, or a related field on a DoD or federal contract (3–5 years preferred for the Intermediate Analyst level).
Familiarity with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) property accountability guidance, or demonstrated ability to learn DPAS during onboarding.
Working familiarity with data center and server room operations, including rack elevations, structured cabling, and labeling standards.
Hands-on familiarity with compute hardware (servers, workstations, peripherals) and basic Microsoft Windows Server concepts sufficient to support imaging, staging, and decommissioning activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint; basic Visio skills preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to handle physical hardware safely and maintain accurate records of every transaction.
Good written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate with Facilities, Procurement, Change Management, and operational teammates.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of routine equipment receiving, racking, and decommissioning activities.
Education Requirement:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and two (2) to five (5) recent years of documented relevant experience.
Clearance Requirement:

U.S. Citizenship
Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification requirements prior to start (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or equivalent). Computing Environment certification appropriate to the role is also required.
Work Environment:

100% onsite at a government facility within the National Capital Region (NCR), primarily at the Pentagon, Crystal Gateway, Taylor Building, Mark Center, or other JSP-designated alternate site. Must be local to the DC Metro Area with reliable transportation.
Must comply with all DoD, DISA, and JSP security and access protocols, including the ability to access NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments.
