Armed Security Officer - Design Firm

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 05:00 AM - 11:30 AM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and support control of sensitive areas in accordance with site protocols and post orders.
• Assist with incident response, de-escalation, and/or coordination with local authorities and site leadership while maintaining professional armed presence and following all applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
