Job Description:
The ideal candidate has experience in mechanical (tube installations), structural drilling and assembly
Position Responsibilities/ Basic Requirements:
Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
Assembles pumps, valves, and hydraulic systems
Measures tolerances using micrometer, calipers, and gauges
Works with torque specifications and mechanical clearances
Works on complex components and systems using established drawings and requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working on a NASA Program
Experience in a clean room environment
Manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware
Experience in installation and handling of tubes, valves, fittings.
Experience in Structural assembly with an emphasis on match drilling aluminum, titanium, and composite materials
Experience with tubing and ducting installation
Education / Experience:
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
