Mission Command Arts & Sciences Program Instructor/Writer
Location: Fort Gordon (Augusta), GA
Description
Seeking a highly motivated Mission Command Arts & Sciences Program (MCASP) Instructor/Writer.
The MCASP Instructor/Writer will instruct and facilitate adult learning through modern training techniques and methodologies and assist in developing Government-owned Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS) curriculum.
Responsibilities and Requirements
• Perform SME classroom instruction and maintain instructor certification IAW the Signal School SOP
• Instruct various Mission Command related courses and evaluate student performances using TRADOC-approved Instructional methodology to include 350-2 (Staff and Faculty Development Training), 350-5 (Ft Gordon Academic Practices), 350-22 (Test Control Policies and Procedures)
• Work closely with Training Development Team IAW courseware development timeline(s); provide subject matter knowledge and expertise in the update or revision of the POI
• Actively prepare and participate in TRADOC, CCoE and Signal School Quality Assurance Assessments as applicable
• Present Mission Command lesson plans IAW the approved Program of Instruction (POI)
• Maintain classroom equipment and training resources as prescribed in TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-4, FG policies, and/or local SOP
• Be able to maneuver in and out of strategic and tactical equipment, and capable of lifting and moving electronic equipment more than 40lbs in and out of classrooms, labs and alternate training sites
• Maintain student records and statistics as prescribed
• Audit MCIS courseware for relevancy, accuracy, flow, balance, and clarity of understanding
• Provide technical analysis, develop course material and syllabus; install software package/images, conduct practical exercises, classroom/lab observations, instructor evaluations, develop read ahead packages and homework assignments
• Revise and update existing courseware and actively participate in NEF/NET; integrate new emerging technology into MCIS curriculum IAW TRADOC Regulation 350-70
Required Skills
• Have a fundamental working knowledge of the Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI) hardware/software application to include the Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) software application.
• Have an extensive working knowledge related to the BCCS v5 server hardware & software application to include integration of the common program of record MCIS platforms; Common Operational Picture (COP), Battle Command Server (BCS), Data Dissemination Service (DDS), VWare Application, Joint Capability Release (JCR), Joint Battle Command Platform (JBC-P), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T), NETOPS, Upper/Lower Tactical Internet, Tactical Operations Center Network (TOCNET), Intercommunications System, Local/Wide Areas Network, Global Broadcast Service (GBS), Standard Integrated Command Posts (SICPS), Digital Tactical Operations (DTOC), Data Products & Cut-Sheet and handle COMSEC.
• Have a fundamental working knowledge and user level experience to operate and program the Division Exercise Training and Review System (DXTRS) simulation.
• Possess PC skills related to installing, configuring, and performing maintenance.
• Possess a valid Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to evaluate and test new software and applications for delivery to the classroom and labs
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Education and Experience
• Graduate of the Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course (CFD-IC) within the last five (5) years or must attend and graduate from CFD-IC within 3 months of award of the contract or within 3 months of hire.
• Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in the interworking and integration of various devices in the Battle Command Common Services (BCCS).
