We are hiring an Aerospace Quality Inspector - Aircraft Electrical Systems & Executive Fleet in San Antonio, Texas, supporting executive and military aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and quality assurance operations. This onsite role requires experience inspecting aircraft electrical systems, avionics, wiring installations, aerospace manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and quality management systems to ensure compliance with aerospace standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.

We are hiring an Aerospace Quality Inspector - Aircraft Electrical Systems & Executive Fleet in San Antonio, Texas, supporting executive and military aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and quality assurance operations. This onsite role requires experience inspecting aircraft electrical systems, avionics, wiring installations, aerospace manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and quality management systems to ensure compliance with aerospace standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, avionics installations, and related aircraft systems to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and support quality assurance and safety programs to ensure adherence to contract requirements, aerospace standards, and operational procedures.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of aircraft, components, processes, services, and operations.
- Verify conformity to established quality, safety, and operational standards through ongoing reviews and audits.
- Develop inspection plans, define inspection frequencies, and identify critical areas requiring quality oversight.
- Communicate inspection findings, nonconformances, and deficiencies to appropriate personnel and leadership.
- Maintain quality assurance records, inspection documentation, and compliance files.
- Document inspection results, corrective actions, and quality metrics in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to aircraft quality, safety, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of Aerospace Quality Inspection experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing product, process, manufacturing, or maintenance inspections.
- Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience inspecting or working with aircraft electrical systems, electrical components, wiring, avionics systems, or related aircraft electrical installations.
- Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), or regulated industry environments.
- Ability to document inspection results and maintain quality assurance records.
- Must be willing to work variable shifts, rotating schedules, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required training certifications.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing electrical inspections on aircraft systems, avionics, wiring harnesses, and integrated electrical components.
- Experience supporting large aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) inspections.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing, quality assurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or sufficient experience to obtain an FAA Repairman Certificate.
- Experience supporting Boeing 7XX aircraft programs.
- Experience supporting military aircraft programs.
- Experience working with Executive Fleet aircraft.
