Role Overview:
Leidos is seeking a senior PowerApps and SharePoint developer to engineer and support web-based solutions for the Marine Corps S-6 Department. You'll be integral to implementing, configuring, and maintaining web services, local apps, and dashboards, directly impacting data-driven operations.
Responsibilities:
I. Web Development
• Develop with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Use backend technologies: .NET Core, Java Spring Boot, or Python Django (based on project needs)
• Implement secure APIs (RESTful, OAuth 2.0/SAML)
• Work with DoD-approved databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Cloud-based hosting (Azure Government, IL5 environment)
• Follow secure coding best practices and SDLC
• Understand networking/security protocols (HTTPS, TLS)
II. SharePoint Development
• Use SharePoint Server (IL5 environment)
• Develop custom web parts, applications, workflows (SPFx, React/Angular/Vue.js)
• Manage SharePoint permissions, DLP policies, audit logs
• Integrate SharePoint with PowerApps, Power BI, databases
• Perform SharePoint patching, performance monitoring, backup/recovery
III. PowerApps Development
• Design apps with Power Apps Studio (canvas/model-driven)
• Store data in Microsoft Dataverse
• Connect to approved sources (SharePoint lists, SQL Server)
• Enforce permissions, DLP, audit logs
• Integrate with Microsoft 365 services
• Patch/update apps, monitor performance, support users
IV. Power BI Development
• Build data models and dashboards (Power BI Desktop/Pro)
• Connect to secure data sources (SQL Server, SharePoint lists, Dataverse)
• Implement DAX for data transformation
• Design interactive dashboards, embed reports
• Enforce permissions, row-level security, monitor audit logs
• Schedule data refreshes, maintain reports
Requirements:
• IAT III and a Microsoft or ITIL foundations certification
• Active Secret clearance
• 10+ years IT experience; 5+ years in web, SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI development
• Expert with Angular, SQL Server, HTML5, CSS3, PowerApps, Power BI, Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript
Work Environment:
• On site at MCAS Iwakuni supporting Marines S-6
• Collaborate with technical teams on implementation, configuration, and data solutions
Additional Skills:
• Power BI Pro, SharePoint configuration, advanced web development
• Strong communication and documentation skills
