Seeking qualified applicants for the position of Electronics Test Technician. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician with 5-8 years of experience in the defense or aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in testing and troubleshooting complex electronic assemblies and systems in a high-reliability environment, with a strong focus on quality, documentation, and adherence to military and aerospace standards. This role involves limited travel, including periodic trips to the partner countries to support collaboration and system integration efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform functional, environmental, and acceptance testing on analog, digital, and RF electronic assemblies and systems.
Set up and operate a variety of test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, etc.).
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to identify and troubleshoot failures down to the component level.
Document and report test results in accordance with company and industry standards.
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on design improvements and root cause analysis.
Support configuration control and change management processes.
Ensure compliance with MIL-STD, IPC, J-STD, and other relevant defense/aerospace standards.
Follow all ESD handling procedures and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Assist in the development and validation of new test procedures and fixtures.
Provide mentorship or guidance to junior technicians as needed.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related field (or equivalent military training).
5-8 years of hands-on experience as a Test Technician in the defense or aerospace sector.
Strong proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement instruments.
Proven ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
Familiarity with military/aerospace standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures.
U.S. citizenship
Eligibility to obtain a security clearance (if not already active).
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Active DoD Security Clearance.
Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and test software (e.g., LabVIEW, TestStand).
