Primary Level Salary Range: $38,600.00 - $64,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $45,800.00 - $61,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Your duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Receives, stores, and issues tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices.
- Maintains records of tools issued to employees; takes periodic inventory and requisition stock as needed; reports damage, worn out, or missing equipment using computers to enter transactions, validates information and maintain database.
- Cleans, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment; disposes of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensures that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.
- Excellent knowledge of tools and their intended use, tool accountability, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Safety programs.
- Must have the ability to take ownership of the tool control program and maintain its integrity r egardless of schedule pressures or stressful situations.
- The selected candidate must be willing to work various shifts depending on business needs, including, but not limited to: 1st shift 0630 - 1500, 2nd shift 1430 - 2300 and overtime when required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Level 2: High School Diploma or GED and 2 years additional education and/or related experience .
- Level 3: High School Diploma or GED and 4 years additional education and/or related experience .
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and/or weekends to meet schedule or mission requirements.
- Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds, working overhead, access small confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment.
- • Must be able to pass a physical and respiratory evaluation and comply with respirator fitting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DOD Secret Clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 6 years.
- Hands-on experience with building, modifying, or maintaining aircraft, automotive, or other machines/equipment using common hand tools.
- • Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with others at all levels of the organization.
- • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- • Initiative, self-starter, adaptable, and high motivation for excellence.
- • Experience with tool and asset accountability systems such as TCMAX.
- • Good understanding of hazardous material processes and procedures in conjunction with maintaining bench/shop stock and consumables.
- Familiarization with specialized and precision tools for aerospace vehicle modifications.
