Title: SAP Procurement and Asset Management Lead
Location: Remote (Must be based in US) with occasional travel (Washington DC)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Procurement & Asset Management Lead to support a large-scale enterprise modernization initiative. This role will lead procurement, acquisition, and asset lifecycle management processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment, helping organizations improve operational efficiency, financial accountability, and asset visibility.
The ideal candidate will have strong SAP functional expertise, experience leading business process transformation efforts, and a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across procurement, finance, and technology teams.

Description:
- Lead procurement and asset management functional workstreams
- Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design sessions
- Develop functional specifications and business process improvement recommendations
- Support testing, deployment, training, and organizational readiness activities
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, asset management, and technical teams
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- 8+ years of ERP consulting experience
- 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience
- Public sector, government, or regulated industry experience
- Strong experience with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Asset Accounting (AA)
- Experience supporting procurement, acquisitions, sourcing, or asset lifecycle management processes
- Experience leading functional workstreams and stakeholder engagements
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
