Job Summary: GFD5IC-Product Repair/Mod Tech C - V-22 Aircraft Maintenance & Modification Technician

Responsibilities
- Independently assemble, disassemble, repair, and modify V-22 aircraft components to meet aerospace specifications and service requirements.
- Conduct diagnostic, functional, and validation testing of aircraft systems using advanced test equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical or electrical faults with minimal engineering support, ensuring aircraft serviceability.
- Accurately document all repair, modification, test, and inspection activities for compliance and traceability.
- Visually inspect, identify, and record discrepancies in components prior to installation or use.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address and reconcile technical discrepancies found during maintenance.
- Support product serviceability by removing, replacing, and testing aircraft parts as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to all health, safety, FOD, and tool control protocols.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in V-22 aircraft maintenance or modification.
- Expertise in either Electrical/Avionics or Airframe systems.
- Solid understanding of aerospace maintenance processes.
- Ability to perform both independent and team-based technical tasks with high attention to detail.
- U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active within the last 24 months) and U.S. Citizenship required.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 25% domestically, including military bases and Hawaii.
- High school diploma or GED plus 4+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Preferred Skills
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Quality Assurance background.
- Extensive depot-level modification experience.
