In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes management and Coordination of facility repairs and renovations, maintenance, utilities, and fire prevention. Experience with preparing work orders and managing the process through execution. Responsible for the management of space allocation over multiple buildings. Experience in providing and reporting logistical guidance, policies, and procedures to Commands DPW public works and Construction entities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Additional information
- Analyzes and evaluates facility assignment impact to installation requests by determining specific requirements and assigning facilities based on command guidance.
- Serves as a facilities manager for the unit.
- Serves as the unit's lead to assess, plan, and execute repairs/improves on the facilities. Coordinates with DPW personnel, inter-service support personnel, and contractors to ensure the facilities meet the operational needs of the unit
- Responsible for the control and allocation of all facilities to meet the installation's present program or changed mission.
- Analyzes complex functions and work processes including programmed workloads and deviations from standards to determine validated requirements for functions being studied.
