Program Overview

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 - Enterprise Applications Support - delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.

Position Summary

ECS is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard's ENOCS program by driving the migration of enterprise applications and infrastructure to secure cloud environments. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that cloud migrations align with DoD security standards and RMF controls, thereby enhancing the operational capabilities of the ARNG. This position demands a proactive approach to system assessment, re-platforming, and performance validation, contributing significantly to the program's success.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the migration of enterprise applications to approved cloud environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive system assessments to determine migration readiness and requirements.
  • Re-platform and refactor applications to optimize performance in cloud settings.
  • Migrate data securely while adhering to DoD cloud security requirements.
  • Validate system performance post-migration to ensure operational integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with RMF controls throughout the migration process.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for deploying machine learning APIs.
  • Integrate secure data solutions using RESTful APIs and OAuth2.
  • Monitor and enhance system automation and reduce MTTD/MTTR using advanced tools.
Required Skills
Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect at the Basic proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CND
  • S. in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance
  • AWS Security Specialty, AWS CCP, CASP+, Sec+ 501, AZ900, CISM, CISA, CEH, SANS SEC401, SANS SEC522, SANS SEC541
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud migration, DevSecOps, and API development
  • Proven track record in building CI/CD pipelines and deploying containerized applications
  • Experience in reducing MTTD/MTTR by 99% through effective monitoring tools
