Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Enginee r to join our team! In this role you will get to Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Architecture Validation team as a Missile Defense System Architecture Assessment Engineer by developing and enhancing the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker tool.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Missile Defense System Architecture Enginee r to join our team! In this role you will get to Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Architecture Validation team as a Missile Defense System Architecture Assessment Engineer by developing and enhancing the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker tool.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide direct support to the Architecture Validation Team within MDA's Chief Architect's Office
- Assist in the development and management of the QlikSense-based Capability Gap Tracker (CGT) tool, to include reviewing, updating, and organizing gaps and threats
- Develop dashboards and data visualizations within the Capability Gap Tracker to support reporting, analysis, and architecture decision-making
- Work closely with other MDA organizations to help them understand and leverage the CGT while gaining insight into elements that make up the missile defense system
- Engage with cross-functional teams and Capability Gap Tracker users to identify reporting needs and deliver data-driven solutions that improve decision support capabilities
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
- 3+ years of experience supporting missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
- Active Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Experience working with and analyzing large data sets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Working knowledge of Missile Defense Systems (MDS) components, architectures, concepts, and threats, with demonstrated understanding through analysis activities
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Systems Engineering processes including Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering strategies
- Experience with Digital Engineering tools and platforms such as Cameo, Palantir, or similar technologies
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
