SciTec has an immediate opening for a People Operations Manager to support our people, culture, and mission as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities:

The People Operations Manager will lead day-to-day Human Resources operations and partner closely with leadership to bridge the gap between HR, recruiting, and day-to-day operations to drive employee development, support hiring initiatives, and provide supervisors and managers with guidance on employee relations and performance management

· Design, implement, and maintain training programs in the field of management, science and engineering, and software

· Partner with managers and leadership to identify and address skill gaps across the organization

· Lead and coordinate efforts across HR, recruiting, and hiring managers to align recruiting priorities with contract and organizational needs

· Serve as an onsite resource for managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and workplace concerns

· Guide supervisors on documentation, coaching, and resolution strategies

· Oversee investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretations

· Track and analyze metrics (e.g., retention, training, promotions, internal mobility) to support workforce planning and align people operations with the growth strategy, objectives, and goals

· Support initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and communication

· Partner with company leadership to develop scalable HR programs and processes to support organizational growth

· Drive the development and evolution of HR policies, procedures, and strategies

· Support refinement of best practices in performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field

· 10+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or Employee Relations with at least 2 years supporting a federal contractor environment

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills

· Tech-savvy with an ability to quickly learn new systems and analyze and interpret data

· Self-starter with the ability to self-teach, take initiative and find answers on their own

· Excellent verbal and written skills

· Ability to handle high volume and varied workload while maintaining attention to detail

· Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of highly confidential information appropriately

· Ability to balance compliance requirements with practical business and people needs

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

· U.S. Citizen

Candidates who have one or more of the following qualifications will be preferred

· Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field

· Experience supporting multi-site or distributed teams

· SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification

· Experience supporting teams in engineering, intelligence, or defense technology programs

· Active DoD Secret or higher security clearance

The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $185,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. This is not a guarantee of compensation.
