Overview:
We are seeking a Cybersecurity / Information Assurance (IA) professional to support U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) operations in a high-impact, mission-critical environment. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity compliance, risk management, and operational security, ensuring enterprise systems maintain authorization and meet evolving DoD standards.

What You’ll Do:
- Support enterprise cybersecurity and IA efforts to maintain compliance with federal and DoD security frameworks
- Analyze and help maintain system authorization posture (ATO lifecycle)
- Assess and manage cybersecurity risk, identifying vulnerabilities and supporting mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with system owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with RMF / NIST / FISMA standards
- Contribute to ongoing security operations, audits, and inspections
- Provide input to leadership on overall cybersecurity posture and readiness
- Support cybersecurity requirements during Army and Joint operations/exercises
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Security+ (or DoD 8570 equivalent)
- 6+ years of experience in Information Assurance / Cybersecurity
- Strong familiarity with RMF, NIST, and FISMA frameworks
- Experience supporting DoD environments
Preferred Experience:
- Background supporting Army or Joint organizations (highly desired)
- Experience working within G6/J6 or enterprise IT/cyber operations
- Familiarity with USARPAC, INDOPACOM, or similar command structures
- Exposure to cloud security, inspections, or compliance assessments
