Job Description
M1 is looking for a Supervisor with the following knowledge and experience.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assists Site Manager in achieving cost, schedule, and performance goals of the NAS Lemoore F-18 contract IAW the PWS, company policy, and applicable government regulatory guidance.
Functions as a Maintenance Supervisor, Quality & Safety Supervisor, and by shift as assigned.
Manages the CLS of aircraft, aircraft systems and weapon systems required.
Serves as the alternate interface and point of contact with Government as needed.
Assists Site Manager by overseeing site contractor personnel job performance supporting operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing execution of maintenance and administrative support effort.
Plans, organizes, and directs operations to meet PWS requirements.
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workflow processes.
Develops and sustains a culture of safety, quality compliance, and professionalism. Ensures 100% safe, on time, properly configured, reliable aircraft to perform missions in accordance with the PWS.
Ensures compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and company policies relating to fleet management/operations.
Ensures sufficient manpower, technical data, tools and equipment are available to meet PWS requirements.
Monitors attendance, approves timecards, assigns overtime.
Applies Company policy and procedures pertaining to the promotion, training, discipline, and termination of employees.
Ensures employees possess the qualifications and certifications necessary to perform their jobs.
Qualifications and Experience:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
15 years of aircraft maintenance experience, 5 years in a managerial/supervisory position of an operation with high performance multi-type/model/series aircraft managing a high tempo operation.
Demonstrated ability to manage large and diverse teams and effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision of contracted effort such as quality control and compliance.
Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2.
Demonstrated experience with CBA and management of a unionized workforce.
Able to obtain/maintain security clearance as required by PWS.
Must possess competent computer skills.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
Working Conditions:
Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
Must be able to moves about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
