The Work:

The Mission Integration and Maritime Solutions (MIMS) Strategy & Business Development Senior Manager will report to the Autonomy, Intelligence and Maritime Solutions (AIMS) Director for Strategy & Business Development (S&BD).

The MIMS S&BD Senior Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement MIMS segment growth strategies that advance LM's approach in market spaces relevant to MIMS.

• Lead the customer engagement strategy across domestic and international customer sets to advance MIMS equities, including relevant trade shows, industry days and conferences.

• Build and maintain trusting and productive relationships with customers, industry partners, influencers and other key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• Lead MIMS S&BD team in curating a pipeline of new business opportunities aligned to Long Range Plan objectives and lead recurring S&BD business rhythms for the segment.

• Plan, prioritize and manage MIMS segment New Business Funding.

• Drive capture management discipline for the segment from opportunity qualification through proposal delivery and ensure that capture strategies are aligned with customer values and LM business case expectations.

• Collaborate across RMS and LM segments to develop appropriate strategy, orders and investment plans and translate them to actionable initiatives.

• Interface regularly across the LM enterprise to achieve business goals - including but not limited to other RMS Lines of Business, other LM Business Areas, LM Government Affairs (LMGA), and the Corporate Engineering and Technology Office (CETO).

• Develop and lead the geographically distributed MIMS S&BD team and to grow the business and help to instill a capture and growth-focused mindset across the wider MIMS segment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Market-based strategy development, opportunity identification and execution

• Demonstrated capture experience taking captures successfully from opportunity qualification, strategy development through proposal delivery and award.

• Experience in building consensus with stakeholder functional organizations (Program Management, Engineering, Sustainment Operations, Contracts, Business Ventures/Offset, and Legal)

• Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities concurrently.

• Ability to work flexible hours and conduct domestic and international travel, as needed.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Desired Skills:

• Established relationships with US Navy and Allied Navy stakeholders

• Familiarity with US Navy or Allied Navy shipbuilding programs

• Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) market space or experience with FAA modernization programs

• Excellent communication skills including, developing and presenting executive quality artifacts (PowerPoint, White Papers, oral presentations)

• High performing professional widely recognized by senior management as a strong leader

• Experience with Government Affairs and Legislative Briefings

• Experience leading large, complex captures and development of capture strategies and/pr campaign plans

• Track record of developing talent and teams

• Team player, critical thinker and self-starter with entrepreneurial attitude

• Proximity or ability to maintain a regular presence at the Moorestown, NJ facility

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
