WHO YOU ARE:
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has
an opportunity in Valley Forge, PA for a
hardware engineer, supporting RMS C6ISR
programs in Valley Forge, PA.
Support includes:
Analyzing customer requirements (power,
cooling, environment, storage, and
transportation),
Develop and present PowerPoint presentations, develop Bills of Material, generate layouts,
generate COTS modification and assembly
drawings, coordinate material purchases with
procurement department and approve of vendor
quotes,
Supervise and support hardware assembly tasks,
coordinate with vendors to repair or replace
defective or damaged
equipment, identify and document facility work
service mods,
Coordinate and support equipment installation at
test and customer facilities and provide customer
support to help them resolve problems.
Candidate will need to perform occasional RMA
and FMECA analysis.

Basic Qualifications:
- Generally has 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
- Familiar with ruggedized mounting COTS hardware in racks and transit cases for military applications
- Familiar with military environmental
requirements including temperature, humidity, shock, vibration
- Experience with developing Virtualized HW solutions
- Willingness to Travel OCONUS (Outside Continental United State) up to 20% of the Time
Desired Skills:
- EPDM/PLM Experience
- Electrical or Computer Engineering Background
- Hardware Design
- FPGA Programming
- AutoCAD
- Hands-on equipment assembly and installation
- Experience with agile processes and implementation
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work independently

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
