Description:The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.
This requisition is for supporting the Test Engineering group in Mk7, serving as either a flight test coordinator or a ground test coordinator.
As a Project Engineer on the Mk7 program within FBM, you will:
• Serve as the central hub for planning, executing, and coordinating flight and ground test activities in a complex, dynamic programmatic environment
• Develop, own, and maintain integrated flight-test master schedules, aligning material availability, test points, support equipment, and personnel
• Execute project management duties across several IPTs such as program planning, financial analysis, contract interpretation, systems integration, as well as cost and risk management.
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Ensure Engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers
• Support Ad hoc tasking by Systems Engineering and Program management leaders
• Focus on providing assistance to team members to meet critical schedules and resolve critical/complex technical or operational problems.
• Compile, prepare, and present information to management and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
• Ability to develop and execute project plans
• Experience coordinating engineering and project plans to achieve mission success
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience in project management including but not limited to budget planning, cost analysis, schedule development, and risk and opportunity management
• Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail, quality, and whole system thinking
• Experience facilitating discussions, meetings, and capturing critical actions/requirements
• Familiarity with flight-test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and telemetry
• Formal experience conducting risk identification, assessment, and mitigation
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
