Missiles & Fire Control, SOF GLSS (Special

Operations Forces - Global Logistic Sustainment

Services) contract provide logistics and

sustainment supporting multiple programs and

platforms.

With an established supply base around the

world we are currently seeking an experienced

supply chain / acquisition professional to join our

Global Supply Chain Management team in the

Lexington, KY area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Developing the Terms and Conditions flow for

SOF and Managing the organizations T&C

process

• Work through Negotiating Terms and

Conditions with the Supplier(s) and related

SME's on program

• Supporting Negotiations with Buyers/SCA's and

suppliers to close timely on open actions

• Managing basic and on occasion complex

subcontracts, including those with

Spec/SOW(Statement of Work) driven

requirements, and other specific procurements,

as required

• Preparing and releasing Requests for Proposals

(RFPs), receiving, analyzing and evaluating

proposals, negotiating subcontract prices, terms

and conditions, selecting and/or recommending

subcontractors, conducting "Best Value"

Competitions, documenting agreements,

administering resulting subcontracts / POs,

including subcontract / PO closeout

• Managing supplier relationships and supplier

performance to achieve program and customer

requirements and goals for Sales, Orders, and

Profit.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to conduct data analysis or research

and/or understanding of negotiations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated critical thinking / problem solving

abilities

Ability to work both independently and within a

team structure

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products

(Power Point, Word, Excel)

Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking

environment

Strong organizational skills

Desired Skills:

Procurement or Acquisition Experience

Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition

Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal

Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)

Working knowledge of standard US Department

of Defense contract types

SAP Systems Experience

Ability to establish new suppliers and manage

supplier performance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
