Sales Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sales Engineer to support a company focused on delivering a secure, scalable assessment administration platform for testing, certification, and evaluation programs. This position is a fully remote position. The Sales Engineer will serve as the primary technical expert during the pre-sales process, partnering closely with Sales and Product teams to demonstrate how the platform solves complex customer assessment and testing challenges. This is an opportunity to directly impact customer success by translating technical capability into real-world solutions that enable fair, reliable, and secure testing experiences.

Responsibilities for the Sales Engineer include:

• Serving as a technical subject matter expert on the assessment administration platform, including features, workflows, and integrations
• Partnering with Sales and Account Management teams throughout the pre-sales lifecycle to support technical evaluations
• Designing, configuring, and delivering customized product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases
• Leading technical discovery sessions to understand customer workflows, integration needs, security requirements, and operational challenges
• Supporting RFP responses, security questionnaires, and technical documentation while collaborating with Product and Customer Success teams

Required Qualifications for the Sales Engineer include:

• 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role
• Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud-based applications, APIs, integrations, and SSO technologies
• Strong presentation, demo delivery, customer discovery, and technical communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued security clearance

Compensation for the Sales Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 **depending on experience**
