SUMMARY:
The Laborer will work directly with the Government personnel in meeting the labor-intensive needs of the project.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances.
• Moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrows or hand trucks.
• Stacks materials for storage or binning.
• Collects refuse and salvageable materials.
• Digs, fills and tamps earth excavations and level ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake.
• Shovels concrete and snow.
• Cleans culverts and ditches.
• Cuts tree and brush.
• Operates power lawnmowers.
• Operates basic hand tools and small equipment like shovels, sledgehammers, and pressure washers.
• Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances.
• Moves heavy pieces of automotive, medical engineering, and other types of machinery and equipment.
• Spreads sand and salt on icy roads and walkways.
• Picks up leaves and trash.
• In coordination with Test and Lab leadership and under supervision, cleans up range and laboratories following test execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE:
• High school diploma or equivalent, with some vocational or technical training is desired.
• Demonstrated physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work safely in a dynamic T&E environment.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment commonly used in maintenance and material handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and safe T&E work environment.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations within a T&E range setting.
• Prior experience in a similar labor-intensive role within a military or government environment preferred.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and equipment used on a T&E range preferred.

DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
