Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administer contracts by providing interpretation of contract clauses and Federal government contracting regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Supplement (DFARS), Service Contract Act (SCA), David Bacon Act, Fair Labor Standards (FLSA), and wage and hour laws; fulfilling contract obligations, negotiating contract changes and maintaining official contract files; interfacing regularly with the Government Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Technical Representatives.
- Ensures all taskings issued by the customer are within contractual scope and requirements; manages task authorization and assignment, coordinates overall data management and ensures contract CDRL compliance.
- Responsible for the procurement function of Shared Services including compliance with established procurement policy and FAR requirements; provides subcontract management and administration for all subcontracts, purchased service agreements, and consulting agreements.
- Responsible for assisting the Corporate Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) in oversight of small business subcontracting plans and associated reporting requirements in SAM.gov.
- Coordinates with the Finance & Accounting for required financial reporting for contracts, including monthly task cost performance, and small business performance against goals.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in reviewing documents, contracts, and project materials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and maintain high-quality output.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
Educational/Training Requirements:
- BS or BA degree in related field and ten years of contract management experience with five years of management or supervisory experience is required.
Required Skills/Experience
- Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies; supports Process Improvement.
- Previous experience administering Government contracts is required.
Clearance Requirements:
- Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
- Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance.
Work Environment:
- Work activities are normally performed in an environmentally controlled area.
Physical Demands:
- This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and requires very little lifting or moving of heavy objects or materials. May require sitting for long periods of time.
