Job Description

As a Data Migration Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of data across systems, with accountability for the success of the migration project. Your role will involve interpreting complex requirements, collaborating closely with both functional and technical teams, and applying critical thinking to anticipate potential challenges and "what if" scenarios. You will be expected to conduct thorough analyses of test results, perform root cause investigations, and validate that all development aligns with project objectives. Engaging with clients to foster strong relationships and clearly communicate findings will be essential as you guide them through the migration process.

To excel in this position, you should be adept at developing and supporting automated testing frameworks, streamlining testing processes, and creating effective artifacts for client acceptance. Experience with data strategy, management, and migration test support will be highly beneficial, as will a demonstrated ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks. Exposure to process analysis within data management activities, as well as a curiosity-driven approach to continuous improvement, will help you identify opportunities to enhance both efficiency and quality throughout the migration lifecycle. Your ability to engage clients, deliver clear communication, and drive process improvements will be key to achieving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Support and ensure the overall success of the data migration project by fully interpreting and meeting project requirements
• Develop and execute data migration test strategies, including automated testing and use of automated testing frameworks
• Conduct thorough analysis of test results, findings, and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues
• Apply critical thinking and curiosity to anticipate "what if" scenarios validate solutions
• Collaborate effectively with both functional and technical teams to support data migration activities
• Engage with clients to build strong relationships and ensure clear, effective communication throughout the project
• Break down complex data migration problems into simplified, actionable tasks
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline testing processes, documentation, and client acceptance criteria
• Perform process analysis of data management activities to support and enhance data migration efforts

Skills:
• Data Testing and Analysis – Intermediate
• SQL – Beginner
• Data Mapping - Beginner

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Public Trust clearance is required.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
