Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure management.
- Ensure scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Utilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Employ continuous integration tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Maintain strong understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Apply security best practices.
- Use monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience automating cloud infrastructure.
- Experience implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd.
- Experience with observability tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
Required Education and Experience Equivalency
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- OR 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering.
