Software Engineer - Active Secret

Title: Software Engineer
Location: Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK

Salary Range: $70-75/hr on w2
Contract: 6+ months, possible extension

Introduction

The successful candidate will join the B-1b/B-52 Software team and focus on supporting the Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems and subsystems, utilizing Jira throughout the end-to-end lifecycle to meet industry, customer, and safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to code in C and/or ADA
• Embedded software design experience preferred
• Experience with JIRA
• Active secret security clearance
• Prior work experience in the client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with operational flight software development
• Experience in systems integration
• Strong problem-solving skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements and technical specifications for stakeholder use.
• Collaborate with a diverse engineering team to design, develop, and deploy operational flight software.
• Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize system and subsystem components.
• Debug and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.
