Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure software solutions.
- Architect and build RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Drive technical strategy and influence product direction.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Mentor engineers while remaining actively involved in implementation and problem-solving.
- Design and optimize cloud-native solutions within AWS environments.
- Contribute to the development of systems handling sensitive and trust-related data.
- Help establish engineering best practices as the organization continues to scale.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives while remaining hands-on.
- Strong expertise in Java development.
- Extensive experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Experience working within AWS cloud environments.
- Proven track record delivering customer-facing commercial software products.
- Strong understanding of security principles and secure software development.
- Experience leveraging AI technologies in products, platforms, or engineering workflows.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and ambiguous challenges.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Experience with SendGrid or similar messaging platforms.
- Background in identity management, trust solutions, credit bureaus, large-scale data platforms, or correlation engines.
- Experience building and scaling products in startup or growth-stage environments.
