PowerShell Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a PowerShell Engineer to support a company focused on enterprise-scale endpoint engineering and Windows 11 automation within a large government IT environment. This position is remote with 5% travel to San Diego, CA. The PowerShell Engineer will design and build advanced automation solutions to support enterprise endpoint lifecycle management. Responsibilities for the PowerShell Engineer include:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable PowerShell-based automation frameworks from scratch
• Analyze, reverse engineer, and enhance existing PowerShell codebases and enterprise solutions
• Architect automation solutions supporting Windows 11 endpoint engineering and OS deployment
• Integrate PowerShell solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, Intune)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize scripts to improve performance and reliability

Required Qualifications for the PowerShell Engineer include:

• 5+ years of experience developing PowerShell solutions in an engineering or development capacity
• Strong experience with PowerShell modules, advanced functions, scripting architecture, and automation frameworks
• Proven ability to build new solutions, maintain large codebases, and integrate with APIs (REST/Graph API preferred)
• Active Secret security clearance; Security+ CE preferred or willingness to obtain

Compensation for the PowerShell Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
