Job Description
Radiance Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Events Specialist to primarily lead the planning and execution of internal employee engagement and morale events throughout the year. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Branding & Communications, this role takes point on the Annual Business Meeting and Independence Bowl, owns the monthly calendar of employee morale and engagement events, and drives initiatives that connect both on-site and off-site employees. Additionally, this role partners with our customer engagement POC and mission personnel during senior customer and community leader visits. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for the small details that make events successful, enjoys collaborating across teams, and has a passion for delivering memorable experiences for our workforce, partners, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the full calendar of internal employee events (approximately one large and one small event per month), including holiday celebrations, employee appreciation, and family-friendly events
- Working alongside the Director of Strategic Branding and Communications, lead end-to-end planning and execution of the Annual Business Meeting (900+ attendees), including, but not limited to, venue coordination, agenda support, vendor management, hotel room blocks, attendee registration, communications, on-site coordination, and post-event reporting
- Lead planning and execution of Radiance-specific events and activities for the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl, including ticket allocation and distribution, catering, branded materials, and week-of logistics. Partner with the Independence Bowl Foundation in Shreveport, LA to execute
- Develop and execute creative initiatives to connect employees across on-site and off-site locations to strengthen morale and culture
- Manage event budgets, including forecasting, tracking spend, processing invoices, and reconciling actuals against plans
- Direct on-site coordination for all events, including setup, vendor management, run-of-show execution, and real-time problem solving
- Own pre- and post-event communications, invitations, registration platforms, reminders, day-of messaging, surveys, and recap reporting
- Manage attendance tracking, dietary and accommodation needs, and similar details across all events
- Track event ROI and employee feedback to continuously improve programming year over year
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning, corporate events, hospitality, or a related field, with demonstrated ownership of large-scale events
- Proven track record managing large-scale event budgets, vendors, and complex logistics from concept through execution
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent events and deadlines without missing details
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting employee-facing communications and working with leadership
- Experience managing hotel room blocks, group contracts, and attendee travel logistics
- Self-starter mindset with creativity and initiative to design programming that meaningfully connects employees
- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends during peak event periods
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event planning platforms (e.g. Whova) is a plus
- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends during peak event times
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event registration platforms, specifically Whova
- Formal training and/or experience in protocol planning and coordination. This includes dignitary/liaison, etiquette and precedence, and stakeholder communication
- Experience coordinating with community organizations
