Location: Littleton, CO (Onsite Only)
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)
Pay: $118,700–$209,300 (experience/location dependent)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an Electronics Engineer – Avionics Product Lead IV to serve as a Responsible Product Engineer / Product Lead for radio communications avionics on a strategic space and missile program. This role owns the full product lifecycle for a complex, high?reliability radio—from development through production, certification, and integration—within a world?class Integrated Product Development environment. The ideal candidate has deep experience with high?speed communications or similar high?reliability electronics, plus a strong track record leading cross?functional avionics hardware efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Work on a cross?functional team to support development, production, and certification of a complex missile radio product.
Serve as a Responsible Product Engineer / Product Lead, responsible for the full product lifecycle with a focus on analog and digital electronics, tightly coordinated with the RF engineering team.
Participate in and support design reviews, providing technical leadership and ensuring compliance with requirements, standards, and best practices.
Serve on Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) to disposition hardware discrepancies and failures.
Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root?cause analysis, coordinating corrective actions across disciplines.
Generate and maintain End Item Data Package (EIDP) content and other certification artifacts to support product certification and flight readiness.
Manage risk and mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combined education/experience.
5+ years of professional experience in electronics engineering.
Experience in the development of high?speed communications or similar high?reliability electronics products.
Experience supporting product acceptance testing and requirements verification.
Active DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience as an Electronics Product Engineer certifying avionics hardware and its interfaces to other systems as ready for flight.
Experience developing systems integration and test plans, and supporting subsystem/system integration testing, including environmental and ground testing.
Material Review Board (MRB) experience and ability to interpret electrical and wiring schematics for troubleshooting and disposition.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design and close collaboration with RF circuit design (amplifiers, filters, antennas) and RF test/troubleshooting.
Proficiency with ECAD/drawing tools such as Mentor Graphics, ORCAD, Zuken, or comparable packages.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to peers, management, subcontractors, and customers.
Proven ability to work in a fast?paced, collaborative team environment, building consensus and effective working relationships across disciplines.
