Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner Sr (Level 3) for the Production Planning team. Our team is responsible for Make-Buy and Bill of Material (BOM) planning, maintaining MRP system integrity, and optimizing material flow to meet customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college, or
equivalent experience/combined education.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP and ERP
systems
• Strategic thinker with lean manufacturing focus
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Degree from an accredited college in the field
such as supply chain management, operations
management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple
levels
of management, industry, peers.
• Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Knowledge of Material Management and
Accounting System (MMAS)
knowledge, including: experience with material
requirements.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer
systems, databases, and programs.
• Very good organization and communication
skills.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving,
and multitasking skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

What You Will Be Doing

- Maintain MRP parameters (lead times, lot sizes) and update BOM changes with Engineering and the Change Board.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations Management to develop time-phased plans for procured parts.
- Analyze and control production schedules and capacity requirements, providing timely status updates.
- Expedite and optimize material flow through the supply chain to preserve schedule integrity.
- Provide shop-floor control on make parts and resolve issues to keep the line moving.
