Description:
You will be the Factory Optimization and Simulation Sr. Staff - Research Engineering for the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies organization in Missiles and Fire Control. Our team is responsible for process engineering, modeling, simulation, and visual representation of factory production systems, as well as managing R&D investments across digital operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related technical area, from an accredited college in a related discipline.
- Experience in performing foundational Industrial Engineering analysis at varying levels (Span Analysis, Capacity Analysis, Cost Evaluations, etc.)
Desired Skills:
Master's Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Operations Research,
Systems Engineering)
Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry
Able to distill complex, multifactor issues, projects, data, and decisions through excellent written, presentation, and communication skills
Experience working in Simio, Flexsim, Prosim, or similar production simulation software suites.
Experience designing production factories in highly complex industries
Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative development in ambiguous, fast-moving
environments
Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams or cross-functional working groups
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement background
Active Secret clearance or higher
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Own development of new capabilities across modeling, simulation, factory layout generation, and digital operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and critical-path analysis.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement) to ensure project milestones are met.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Manage the annual R&D budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
