You will be the Industrial Engineering Associate Manager for the Missile and Fire Control team in Archbald, PA. In this role you will be responsible for the Industrial Engineers that support operations in all production areas on site. The type of manufacturing that is performed is comprised of Circuit Cards, Cable & Harness, Electro-Mechanical, and Fabrication.

As the Industrial Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading analysis and design of operational sequences, coordinating recruitment and training of engineering staff, capital expenditure, and overseeing cost-control studies.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role or related discipline within a manufacturing environment
- Experience in leading projects to develop layouts for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Demonstrated proficiency using lean/six-sigma methods & data analytics to identify root cause, and solve problems in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with 2D/3D & process modeling programs such as CAD, CREO, SolidWorks, SIMIO, etc.
- Ability to work alternative shifts
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance so must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience within the defense industry
- Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively
- Extensive experience planning, coordinating, and setting-up large scale facility & production work areas
- Ability to drive strategic decision-making through data analysis, clear reporting, and executive presentations
- Ability to read & interpret drawing requirements to develop/refine work instructions
- Ability to track and manage cost, quality, and schedule in a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership experience
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

- Monitor implementation of facility modification plans and operating-method revisions.
- Collaborate with Facilities team the design of new plant structures.
- Using lean six sigma methods, data analytics, and simulation tools to optimize production processes, improve productivity and present recommendations to project teams and leadership.
