Description:
You will be the Staff Supplier Quality Engineer for the Supplier Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for serving as the primary quality interface between suppliers, internal operations, and program leadership to ensure procured materials meet all contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.

As the Staff Supplier Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving supplier quality excellence for the Javelin Program.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
• Experience performing Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations.
• Experience with supplier quality processes including source inspection, First Article Inspection (FAI), supplier audits, or supplier corrective action management.
• Experience analyzing quality data and identifying trends to drive improvement.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel 25%
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Lockheed Martin business systems such as SAP, Apriso, Windchill, etc.
• Experience conducting supplier audits, surveillance activities, and quality system assessments.
• Knowledge of AS9100 aerospace quality management system requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.
• Experience supporting supplier performance management and improvement initiatives.
• ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, or equivalent).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Demonstrated ability to influence suppliers and drive corrective action resolution.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation to leadership and customers.
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors, including delivering results, building effective relationships, and modeling integrity and accountability.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
