Engineering and Technology's Connected & Secure Software Solutions (CS3) organization is seeking a highly motived full spectrum leader to act as the Deputy Program Manager/ Engineering Manager embedded on the Kayenne program. The role provides functional and technical leadership over a development and sustainment effort for custom hardware/software solutions in a distributed geographical setting. The functional role extends to multiple adjacent programs in the NSS/SOA/Enterprise Analytics portfolio supporting the same customer.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and technical execution of the program and other DPM duties as assigned.
• Chair selected KYN program forums, processes, and enterprise business rhythms, which address overall program cost, schedule, and technical management.
• With cognizance of the program direction, will also be responsible for the coordination, generation, and delivery of recurring program deliverables, such as PMR charts.
• Routinely interface with program COR, CO, and customer stakeholders on all aspects of program execution and performance.
• Assist others in leading and driving enterprise behavior across the program as well as provide a leadership presence across the program.
• Coordinate program staffing through LM hiring and subcontract vendors.
• Provide E&T organizational leadership to deliver on strategy and all personnel requirements (leader of leaders)
• Occasional travel required: 10-15%
Basic Qualifications:
• PMP certification, or ability to secure PMP within 6 months
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• 5 years of related program management experience
• 10 years of technical or management leadership
• Capture support or leadership
• TS/SCI required
Desired Skills:
• Experience as a CAM and CAM certified
• Leadership in an operational setting
• Up to 30% monthly travel to a primary customer site located in Springfield, VA.
• Experience in an embedded customer setting
• Experience with IC and DOD customers
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
