Description:Lockheed Martin is looking for a highly qualified professional to join the PAC-3 Launcher Sustainment Team as the Field Operations (FO) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The candidate will work directly with the PAC-3 FO Program Manager, executing contract actions and driving cost, quality, and schedule performance across multiple concurrent sustainment task orders. Responsibilities include managing integrated master schedules, contract deliverables, risk & opportunity registers, and program performance metrics; partnering with Control Account Managers, functional leaders, Technical Operations Center, and customer/partner contacts to share best practices and identify schedule or cost impacting risks. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of the PAC-3 launcher system and a proven track record of successful collaboration across program, logistics, engineering, and international teams.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the Field Operations Program Manager to drive contractual execution, keeping the program on schedule, within cost targets, and meeting quality requirements.
Act as the primary liaison between the Program Office, functional teams, the customer, and internal IPTs to establish milestones, monitor master plan adherence, and resolve program level issues.
Develop and validate cost estimates, maintain visibility of all open issues and delivery constraints, and ensure Sustainment Operations inputs are captured in all risk assessment activities (including production risk reviews).
Coordinate with PAC 3 production teams to represent Sustainment interests in risk analyses and serve as the programs representative on CSB/CCB, Failure Review Board, and Risk & Opportunity Board meetings.
Identify, communicate, and drive solutions for program challenges, clearly articulating impacts on schedule, cost, and performance to both the program manager and the customer.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of experience in military or defense industry commensurate with assignment
Exceptional team building skills; Demonstrated coordination and collaboration experience
Ability to work independently in a dynamic team environment under general guidance
Ability to professionally communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Ability to proactively manage multiple and/or competing tasks and priorities
Effectively communicate with peers and leadership in written, verbal, listening and presentation development.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
Risk and Opportunity Management
Proficient in MS Office tools (TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Strong organization and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task high priorities
Travel domestically and internationally for short periods of time as required.
Final Secret clearance required.
Desired Skills:
PAC-3 Ground Systems experience
Experience with various contract types and requirements development
Experience applying Control Account Management (CAM) and EVMS methodologies
Proven customer relationship skills and previous experience with USG agencies, specifically SHIELD, AMCOM, DEVCOM
Familiarity with OASAS, SAP (PRD and MPD), PDEP or other Total Asset Visibility initiatives
Familiarity with Data Visualization tools and techniques, such as Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software.
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
